This page touches upon on the skills and equipment needed to enable the ability to use minimal/zero MP to finish off the various mob enemies that can be found in Another Eden.

The base recommendation is to start completing the Astral Archive tasks need to get the Mana Weapons Equipment Set after you clear Main Story Chapter 11. These allow characters with cheap AoE attacks to use them freely (e.g. Aldo's Spinning Slash or Joker's Slash).

The rest of the Mana Weapons become available as you continue progressing past chapter 13 and more Books become available in the Astral Archive. The Thrill of Victory Badge becomes available after clearing chapter 17; it's effect stacks with the Mana Weapons. As your characters level up, the 10% MP gain after victory (20% by combining a weapon and Thrill of Victory badge) will allow higher cost AoE skills to get used.

It can also be useful to get Joker and Morgana after completing Main Story Chapter 13; both can use the Mana Blade and Morgana can increase the power of Joker's VC attack by being the one who swaps him in. Finally, you can get Noahxis after Main Story Chapter 22 for fixed damage to enemies.

Passive Skills[edit]

So long as you clear the mobs on the first turn, the following passives allow you to easily use multiple characters' skills with a net 0 MP loss due to either making skills cost 0 MP during the opening turn or restoring a large amount of MP after a victory. Melpiphia requires Stellar Awakening to utilize her passive.

Characters with Basic Attack Replacers[edit]

The following characters have a basic attack replacement which allows for attacking enemies without using MP. Note that the basic attack replacements all have conditions of some kind attached to them; see character pages for details. Be careful to avoid using equipment in which the basic attack is replaced like the Elemental Arms Set.

For many of these characters, you can utilize the Enhance Normal Attack grasta to increase damage potential.

There are plenty of characters who have a way to recover MP RecoverMP.png which can be found on the Characters using the filter under Support. The following are list of equipment that focus on restoring MP. Because most MP restore skills/equipment have defined limits, at times it might be better to use skills based off a character's non-5★ Ability Board.

Characters with VC Attack[edit]

Valor Chant Attacks are considered to be first implementation of 0MP attacks. It should be noted that to implement using the Battle Save mode, Valor Chants need to be going into an empty frontline spot to be saved so your max party size would be need to 5 instead of 6.

Persona 5 Royal Symphony Characters[edit]

The Persona 5 Royal Symphony characters (focusing on Joker and Morgana) were designed to assist in this mode. Joker and Morgana are the first no MP attack method to one-shot mobs. You want Morgana in the frontline and Joker in the reserves and swap the two to invoke Joker valor chant which will attack all enemies and Morgana's passive skill Baton Pass will increase the damage by 50%. If one of enemies is weak to PiercePierce type attacks, Joker will attack again due to his passive 1 More. It should be noted that there is a Life Grasta to increase Baton Pass to 100%

Encounter Rate[edit]

There are times where you need to optimize on increasing or decreasing the current encounter rate or to increase escape rate. The following equipment can help increase or reduce encounters. It should be noted the Enemy Encounter- and Enemy Encounter+ stack to max of 3 where grasta slots and badge slots are counted together from the entire party. So if needing to optimize the entire party, 3 different characters can carry 1 form of encounter rate to get the max 3.
