Summary

Story

It was roughly three thousand years ago.

There was a decisive battle between the brutal Ogre Clan and the armies commanded by the Thunder King.

The Ogre Clan was shattered and thought to have been eradicated from this world...

This came to be known as the Ogre Wars.

At the end of the battle, the Thunder King’s legendary sword Palsifal of ancient lore was cursed by the hatred and burning rage of the Ogre Clan...transforming the ancient sword into the cursed Ogre Rancorem.

But now a new battle is about to ignite before Aldo, the one who was selected by Ogre Rancorem to bring calamity upon the world.

What fate shall come of Altena and the lost Beast King?

Where is the future in which Aldo was dragged into the vortex of time’s memory?

• Defeat the four Elemental Spirits. You can also complete the subquests to obtain key items that weaken the opposing Elemental Spirit.

Procedure

• Travel to Elzion - Theta District.
• Speak to Sebastia, and initiate Amy's character quest. You will need Amy in the party to commence this step.
• Speak to the woman on the second floor of the tavern in the Spacetime Rift.
• Speak to the peddler on the Ancient Battlefield.
• Talk to the Dimensional Battleship, and travel to Nilva. You cannot quick travel to Nilva yourself if you've already unlocked it.
• Speak to the old man in the northern house to obtain a Macminal Museum Pamphlet.
• Return to the Ancient Battlefield and show the pamphlet to Macminal.
• Return to Nilva and investigate the gate at the northwest corner.
• Head to Unigan and speak to Macminal, next to the weapons shop.
• Travel to Elzion - Theta District. Speak to the Archaeology Buff in the northwest house and get the Karma Stone.
• Bring the Karma Stone to Macminal in Unigan.
• Return to Nilva and enter the newly-reopened Macminal Museum.

  • To use this, head around the right side of the Macminal Museum from its front door. When you're behind the Museum, swipe downwards to enter the Off-Limits Floor, and battle the Insula Ventorum.
• Travel to Elzion - Theta District.
• Speak with Sebastia.

Procedure

• Use the Riftbreaker to travel to Haunted Chateau.
• Press 5 switches as you go deeper and deeper into the Chateau.
  • You can investigate crumbling walls to access Backstage rooms with Varuo. Look for lightly colored green holes near the baseboards of the walls. These contain chests with additional materials and items, including Toto's Misanga and Mimi's Necklace.
  • A switch on 3F of the Chateau unlocks "something far away". This causes a statue in a side room on 4F to move aside, revealing chests with additional items, including the Dream Ring.
  • You will temporarily only control Amy once you reach 1F.
• Boss battle with Ghost King.

  • Collect the Hide'n'Seek Toto Card near the entrance, and find Hidden Toto marks across the amusement park to collect all its unique weaponry.
• Boss battle with Psychic Ego.
• Travel to Elzion - Theta District and speak to Sebastia.
• Amy's 5-star Ability Board becomes unlocked. Toto Dreamland (Another Dungeon) also becomes available.

• A new area of the Ancient Battlefield is unlocked. Travel up into the siege tower and enter the Ogres Spike.
• Boss battle with Ordoggie, Red Ogre Superior, Yellow Ogre Superior.

Summary

The Ogre Key brought down the barrier; now it's time for the fightback! The siege towers move into position, and the Thunder Army and the Knights of Miglance begin to pour into Ogres Spike for the final battle.

Procedure

• Navigate to the end of Ogres Spike.
• Boss fight with Hell Ogre, Death Ogre.
  • When either Ogre reaches 50% and 25% HP, they will perform a combination attack to heavily damage the party. These HP thresholds have stoppers for Another Force and cannot be skipped; defeating one of the ogres will disable the combination attack and remove the stoppers.
• Proceed further into Ogres Spike, but don't forget to check the Munitions Zone to the left for a quick travel point and healing spot.
  • Caution: You will lose control of Aldo and be unable to switch maps in the next chapter.

Summary

The Thunder King's body begins to fail him just as the final encounter approaches. Will his strength hold long enough to ensure the victory of the twin Palsifals over the Elemental Greatsword?

Procedure

• Navigate the final segment of Ogres Spike.
• Boss fight with Zennon Ogre.
  • Zennon Ogre starts surrounded by the elemental spirits. Each absorbs their element but has a clear weakness. Zennon himself doesn't resist any and only his defeat progresses the fight.
  • The second half has him inherit the powers of the undefeated elemental spirits from the previous phase. For each, he gains resistance to that element. His left and right arms are separate targets, but will regenerate over time.
• On completion, you also gain the Elemental Arms - Fire Spirit's Sword, Water Spirit's Katana, Earth Spirit's Ax, and Wind Spirit's Lance. You can also challenge the Spirits again in Purgatory to obtain special upgrade materials for each.
  • Be aware that the Elemental Arms will override the equipped character's basic attack.
• The Ogres Spike has been added to the Spacetime Rift Record Room (#006)
• Toto Theater World (Another Dungeon) is unlocked. You can gain / for any Free Characters at this Another Dungeon.

You cannot re-fight a Magic Armor multiple times in a row - after each defeat, the Magic Armor goes dormant until all four have been defeated and you have returned to Konium and talked with the elder.

These non-craftable weapons and armor both can be upgraded with materials from Toto Dreamland (Another Dungeon). Much later in the game, the weapons (but not the armor) can be reforged to make them stronger.

Weapons

As soon as the player enters Toto Dreamland in chapter 39, there's a signboard they can interact which dispenses the Hide'n'Seek Toto Card. The aim is to find all 40 Toto marks across the theme park, and the tutorial helpfully picks out two nearby marks as a demonstration. The Toto points are traded in for weaponry - 5 per item - and all forty in tow allows for the purchase of all eight weapons.
