This boss is unlocked by scoring 4.5+ billion damage for all 4 elements in Home's Lost Atelier (Another Dungeon) Purgatory Path. A new location will be added to the Memory Room in the Spacetime Rift, where you can face it.

Fast Attack Punishment[edit]
In addition to its regular actions in the subsequent table, Purgatory Mystical Beast Shadow will also perform the following actions before taking its regular turn, on Turns 1 & 3 of its rotation only. This is based on the number of attacks your party performs before it acts.

Tips[edit]
- In order to avoid the forced-lose situation of the main body absorbing everything, you should plan to kill at least one of the parts before hitting its stoppers.
- You can still kill it even if it absorbs everything if you use fixed damage (Radica AS, Tiramisu). It will take a VERY long time, though.
- Having 2 damage dealers with complementary elements is required for this fight. Pick one that specializes in Fire or Wind, and another that specializes in Earth or Water.
- Using only one element will result in a situation where you can no longer damage the boss after an HP stopper, as the opposite part you couldn't kill with your element will still be alive, and the boss will mimic its absorb of that element.
- Earth Calamity grasta from Underworld (Another Dungeon) can allow for flexible choices for Earth damage, potentially even allowing you to use a single damage dealer.
