IDEA, short for IDA City Defense & Emergency Action unit, is IDA Academy's student council and the most elite of the students. They are entrusted with policing IDA City, although they mostly work undercover. They have the authority to cordon off areas in school for the duration of their investigations. Their members are also known as IDEAlists and are dressed in prominently white uniforms.

IDEA is involved in several investigation cases, such as the IDA School episodes.
