for Another Dungeon before opening the Books in Astral Archive because unlike regular awards, the Astral Archive rewards are given upon opening a book as long as you have met the requirement(s).By completing the Repair Conditions of Astral Tomes, you can earn character advancement items as well as equipment and badges to help progress in the early stages of the story. Complete every condition to face the Seal monster (boss) of the Tome! Each boss can be fought in Hard or Very Hard difficulty. Defeat both to complete the repair! Raise your Astral Tome Repair Level to earn Chronos Stones, Chant Scripts, and even meet new Sidekicks.
Some repair conditions may display additional Pledges to fulfill. They may dictate your party makeup or actions to take during battle. All Pledges must be completed to get the rewards. This is similar to Battle Simulator's missions.
Not all tomes are unlocked at Main Story Chapter 11. The requirements for each book is dependent on defeating the Story version of the boss (this include Side Stories). See the relevant book for requirements.
Completing either of a pair of neighboring Conditions will activate a Link, adding a bonus of +20 Repair EXP.
Progress in repairs to raise your Repair Level, and earn rewards for each level reached.
When you complete all 8 Repair Conditions and associated Pledges, you can challenge the boss sealed within the book. Seal Monster battles come in 2 difficulties, Hard and Very Hard. All Seal Monsters have Pledges.
