Story[edit]

Character Quest 1[edit]

The True Power of the Dinosaur Slayer

A monster has recently appeared near Ratle. It’s devilishly quick, and causing the villagers no end of trouble. The elder has asked for help.

The elder of Ratle asks Yio for help in dealing with a dinosaur. She seems reluctant, much to Aldo’s confusion. They ask for more information from a kid who has seen the dinosaur, but he is dismissive of Aldo. However, he completely changes his attitude when he notices Yio, the Dinosaur Slayer, as he is her self-proclaimed student, and reveals that the dinosaur is in Vasu Mountains.

On their way, Yio tells Aldo about trying to face off against a giant dinosaur that attacked Ratle a long time ago, but admits that all she has is a fighting spirit. They then continue with their search and find the dinosaur. Yio proposes to use bait and Aldo misunderstands that she herself wants to act as a decoy. When the dinosaur spots her, Yio is scared. Aldo then appears from behind it and they take it down together. After the fight, Aldo compliments Yio on her acting skills, as she truly seemed scared.

Finally, they report back to the elder, who hails Yio as Ratle’s very own hero.

Character Quest 2[edit]

The Truth of the Dinosaur Slayer

Something seems off about Yio. It seems there’s something she wants to tell Aldo. What could it be?

Yio decides to tell Aldo something, but she doesn’t want to do it in Ratle, so they head to the Zol Plains. After making sure that no one is around, Yio confesses that she is scared of dinosaurs. She explains that she comes from a family of warriors and has been training daily to become as strong as possible.

On the day when the giant dinosaur attacked Ratle, she took her friends with her to hunt it down, but it killed all her friends. However, she was saved by a traveling warrior who defeated the dinosaur and left. She blacked out and, when she woke up, people started saying that she had defeated the dinosaur. Although she is now strong enough to defeat them, she still starts trembling whenever she faces a dinosaur and being called the Dinosaur Slayer causes her great discomfort.

Aldo thus offers to help her come clean to the elder, but, as she is about to confess, she is interrupted by her self-proclaimed student of hers, who informs them of a dinosaur on the Zol Plains that is headed to the village. Aldo and Yio thus rush to slay it. After the battle, the elder and the boy hail her again as a hero and Yio decides to keep the truth to herself, resolved to keep improving with Aldo’s help and finally become worthy of the name of Dinosaur Slayer.
