Quest 1: Temporary Boyfriend[edit]
A girl from Sevyn’s class comes to talk to him. She says she’s being disturbed by a man…
After asking him if he will ever come back to class, one of Sevyn’s classmates asks him to meet her in Gamma District to help with a problem she has. Although Sevyn doesn’t care, Aldo pushes him to hear her out. They are joined by another classmate and the girl pretends that Sevyn is her boyfriend, much to his annoyance. The other student, who is popular and rich, calls Sevyn a liar for claiming to be able to control the elements with Xeno Prisma and challenges him to take down synth humans spotted on Route 99.
Offended that the student is doubting his shamanic powers, Sevyn accepts the challenge and defeats the synth humans. They return to Elzion and the classmate acknowledges that Sevyn is stronger than him. The female student tells the classmate off, but Sevyn actually tells her that the classmate seems to care about her and that she should be honest with him if she truly wants to reject him. Sevyn adds that he might return to school to see how things will work out with them.
Aldo tells Sevyn that he might have fun at school with friends like those, but he thinks that traveling with him is much more his style.
Quest 2: The Heretic Scientist[edit]
Sevyn meets a scientist interested in his abilities. Based on Aldo’s recommendations, he agrees to help with the scientist’s research…
Aldo and Sevyn meet a man in Elzion who tells them about a scientist who is trying to use the power of nature without Xeno Prisma. Aldo encourages Sevyn to meet him, so they go find him in Xeno-Domain. Sevyn rescues the scientist from a drone and reveals that he is a shaman. Aldo is more than happy to help the researcher, despite Sevyn’s reservations.
Nevertheless, they agree to let the scientist collect some data of Sevyn in the Industrial Sector by fighting one of his data bots. As the scientist doesn’t have enough funding for his research, however, he asks them to power up his bot first. They comply, with Sevyn using his power to power up Xeno-Domain, but he tells Aldo that he still doesn’t trust the scientist’s motives and Aldo agrees with him.
They decide to play along and fight the bot. The scientist is ecstatic, and dreams of being rich and getting married. As Aldo and Sevyn decide to leave, the scientist reveals that he actually wants Sevyn to use his power from within a robotic suit so that everyone will believe that elemental technology without Xeno Prisma is possible.
Both Aldo and Sevyn are shocked by his proposal and Aldo apologizes to Sevyn for pushing him to give the scientist a chance. Sevyn doesn’t mind and admits that Aldo is the only one he has ever cared about proving his power. Aldo thanks him and offers to treat him to a meal.
