Character Quest 1: A Splendid Secret[edit]
Moonlight Hismena is observing Elzion when a boy suddenly bumps into her, causing his ice cream to stain her clothes. The boy's mother apolgizes and offers to reimburse her, but Moonlight Hismena wipes the stain away effortlessly. She explains that it is made with a special weave, and tells the mother to use the money to buy another ice cream instead. She also remarks that they should buy two ice creams next time in case they lose one again, which surprises the boy and her mother. An admiring girl approaches her, and after talking a bit the girl leaves for the Industrial Ruins to meet a friend in an online game. Curious, Moonlight Hismena decides to follow.
At the Elzion Airport, a lost Moonlight Hismena sees a youth with a drone passing by, and Moonlight Hismena uses this opportunity to ask the youth about where she could buy a drone. Getting the information she wants, Moonlight Hismena gives the youth a gold coin and says that he is a proud laborer. After Moonlight Hismena leaves, the youth finds out that the coin is pure gold and decides to sell it to live a high life for a while.
Back in Elzion, Moonlight Hismena asks her newly-bought drone for directions to the Industrial Ruins. Meanwhile, Aldo hears some rumors about Moonlight Hismena and decides to investigate.
Inside the Industrial Ruins, the girl is held hostage by her "online friend", who is actually a Synth Human. Moonlight Hismena appears and uses her drone to destroy the Synth Human's drones, freeing the hostage. Aldo also arrives, and the two team up to fight the Synth Human. The Synth Human is defeated, and Moonlight Hismena lets him escape. The Synth Human attempts to ambush the girl from behind, but is dispatched by Moonlight Hismena before he can do so. Moonlight Hismena comforts the girl and the three return to Elzion.
The girl's butler appears and reveals that the girl is the only daughter of the San family, stating that "this debt would not go unpaid", which Moonlight Hismena inteprets as a threat. After the butler leaves with the girl, Moonlight Hismena says that she wishes to learn more about this world, so Aldo offers to be her guide. Moonlight Hismena accepts, and tries to offer Aldo a gold coin as gratitude but Aldo declines. Aldo then asks why she chased after the girl, and Moonlight Hismena makes the excuse that it is a confidential matter when in reality, she just wanted to know what an online game was.
