Story[edit]

Character Quest 1[edit]

On a Quest for Spirit Grass

A woman from Elzion needs help. Her child has a grave illness and she must find medicine...

In Elzion’s Theta District, Erina and Aldo come across a very worried lady talking to a doctor. It appears that the lady’s son cannot get treatment for a fatal sickness called Thanato fever. Erina’s sister, a spirit, tells her that someone is researching a cure in the Gamma District. Once there, they visit the man called “Pharma Researcher.” They learn that his cure is almost complete, except for one ingredient: Yellos Spirit Grass. It is far too expensive for him to get.

A well-dressed gent overhears the three’s conversation. He says that the Yellos Spirit Grass is favored by the elite as a decorative item, and reveals that he receives his own Yellos from smugglers. After he sees Erina and Aldo react negatively to this, he pays them to keep quiet and promptly leaves.

Aldo and Erina follow the gent to the Theta District to learn more about how he acquires Yellos. The gent plays dumb. Erina’s sister informs her that the gent is a client of their father’s. In exchange for more information about the Yellos, Erina will not tell her father of the gent’s illegal activities. The gent reveals that a smuggler of Yellos has stopped by the airport.

Once they arrive at Elzion’s airport, Aldo is overwhelmed at the amount of cargo he needs to filter through to find the Yellos. Luckily, Erina’s sister finds it for them. The two get interrupted by a smuggler protecting his cargo, and a battle begins. When the smuggler is defeated, the EGPD arrests him. The researcher from before had informed the EGPD. Before taking the box of Yellos in as evidence, an EGPD officer looks the other way so Erina and Aldo can bring some back to the reseracher.

After the researcher leaves to make the cure, Erina tells Aldo that her sister died of Thanato fever and had made a vow that no one else had to die from it again. Now that Yellos can be in the hands of the people instead of the elite, that vow is now fulfilled.

Character Quest 2[edit]

It’s a Matter of Erina’s Pride!

There’s a rather anxious lad in Laula dome. It seems his sister almost bankrupted the family. Now how did she do that?

In Laula Dome, Erina and Aldo come across a worried boy. His sister is spending lots of money on useless junk, straining the finances of their family. Being from a wealthy family, Erina’s a little confused why that is a problem. But with a little explanation from Aldo, Erina agrees to help the boy. Quest accepted!

Erina, Aldo, and the boy go meet his sister. They discover that the sister believes that buying useless junk, like an antique plate for example, would banish the evil spirit that’s haunting her. The sister tells them that a psychic told her so. Erina, doubtful that the psychic is an actual psychic, wants to meet him.

Upon meeting the psychic, Erina discovers that the psychic can see her sister’s spirit. Then, she still demands that the psychic give back the money he’s taken from the boy’s sister. He runs away, and the two give chase into the wheat field. The psychic calls upon evil spirits to fight Erina and Aldo. Erina declares that she has a responsibility to make sure all spirit mediums use their powers for good, and a fight begins.

They take the psychic to apologize to the Girl, and he buys back all the junk he made her buy. The sister has a change of heart soon after, and leaves to apologize to her mother and her brother.
