Break Battles
Break Battles are special format battle exclusive to areas found in Octolight Conductors: The Prisoner's Odyssey.
- hits will drain enemies' Shield Points, and put them into Shield Break.
- Multi-hit skills are considered as 1 hit on Shield Points.
- Attack again skills can be considered as 2 hits on Shield Points.
Shield Points[edit]
Each enemy in a Break Battle has Shield Points. Shield Points are reduced every time an enemy takes damage. When Shield Points reach 0, the enemy will enter Shield Break.
Shield Break[edit]
When an enemy enters Shield Break, it will be Stunned and unable to act until the end of the turn after it was Shield Broken. On the turn it recovers from Shield Break, it will have First Strike.
- First Strike makes all moves Preemptive for the one who has the status effect.
Regarding Another Force[edit]
In a Break Battle, you can only use Another Force with a Shield Broken enemy on the field. Another Force will become available and the Gauge will fill when an enemy is Shield Broken. If no Broken enemies are on the field, the Another Force Gauge will be empty, never fill up, and Another Force will be unusable.
