This article guides you to install Another Eden not from Google Play Store.

Background

Starting from v3.5.50, it's buggy to install Another Eden from unofficial sources such as QooApp or Aurora Store or ApkPure. It's because the game app becomes more succeptible to hardware architecture now whereas QooApp and ApkPure only provide 32-bit version of APK. Hence, you need to setup correctly to get it to work. The key point is matching the ABI of apk (armeabi-v7a / arm64-v8a or arm32/arm64) with your Android architecture. Another Eden supports only 2 out of 4 available ABIs: armeabi-v7a (also known as arm32) and arm64-v8a (also known as arm64). Currently Another Eden still supports 32-bit version. However, I recommend you using 64-bit version for future compatibility.

On Android Emulators

I only address Bluestack and LDPlayer emulators which are what my friends use.

Bluestack

1. Make sure you install Bluestack 5++.
2. Create a fresh instance and setting custom ABI following this.
   1. If you use 32-bit Android in above instance, select ARM 32-bit ABI only.
   2. If you use 64-bit Android in above instance, select ARM 64-bit ABI only.
3. Install Another Eden from Google Play Store in your newly setup Bluestack instance
   1. If your country is not supported, try changing location on Bluestack. An example guide I found without verification yet.

LDPlayer

1. Make sure you install LDPlayer 9++. It's a 64-bit Android.
2. Download 64-bit apk for Another Eden from ApkSupport with following parameters:
   1. Name: games.wfs.anothereden for Global / net.wrightflyer.anothereden for JP
   2. ABI: arm64-v8a
   3. Device: Phone. Model: Google Pixel 5 Pro
   4. Android: 9.0
      1. LDPlayer 9 uses Android 9.0. Later version of LDPLayer may use later version of Android, please check that info from LDPLayer's website.
3. Press "Analyze" button then press "Merge APK" button and download the generated APK
4. Use above APK to install Another Eden

On Android Phones/Tablets

1. Uninstall current buggy Another Eden, save your transfer ID and password first!
2. Repeat the method above to obtain apk from ApkSupport
   1. If your device is 32-bit, ABI field needs to be armeabi-v7a.
   2. If your device is 64-bit, ABI field needs to be arm64-v8a.
   3. Device: Phone. Model: Google Pixel 5 Pro
   4. Android version is the version of Android on your device.
3. Press Analyze to generate then press Merge and download the merged APK.
4. On mobile, rename the downloaded .html file to .apk
5. Use downloaded APK to install

In some old devices, the single APK install does not work. You need to use the split APKs to install.

1. Install Split APKs Installer (SAI)
2. Download the generated APKs after pressing Analyze button one by one. Put them all in an empty folder.
3. Rename games_wfs_anothereden_$version.apk to base.apk
4. Open SAI, point to that folder to install
