Transfer ID

From Another Eden Wiki

Account preservation[edit]

The Transfer ID code is used to restore your game account - either when you switch between devices (iOS, Android, Steam) or to reinstall the game after taking a break. This code stays with your account forever - you do not need to make a new one after transferring.

Other methods are also available, but over the years players have reported problems with all of the rest to varying degrees. Having a Transfer ID code is the most secure and reliable way to keep an account safe. It is generally recommended to maintain multiple back-up copies of the code and password.

Account restorations are also possible by contacting WFS (in-game from title screen click Help), especially if you have made even the smallest purchase from the App/Play store, there will be a record of it that will make it easier for them to do.

To get your Transfer ID code inside the game choose Menu - Other - Data Transfer Settings - Transfer Instructions.

Other related notes[edit]

The Transfer ID code is distinct from the "Game ID". (visible on the title screen) and in other places. Care should be taken to avoid accidentally sharing either the Game ID or the Transfer ID in screenshots.

If you try to transfer your account too often you will exceed a daily limit 20 times and your account will get locked for 24h (20 times and 24h were confirmed by testing at 31 Dec 2021), after 24h it gets auto unlocked and then it is possible play normally again.

For some players it is normal for the game to crash or display errors during installation, but in most cases if you restart it will pick up right where it left off (evidence of this can be seen in that the amount to be downloaded getting smaller each time the process is restarted).
