Summary[edit]
Aldo is called to Xianhua's lab in the Xeno-Domain. There he sees a certain machine.
Procedure
Xianhua will brief you on collecting Turbochargers to upgrade her bike simulator. This also unlocks the Rebel Rider minigame. You must clear Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties in order to complete this quest.
There are a total of 11 Turbochargers to acquire to max out bike upgrades:
- 1 in KMS East Division underground A (northeast branch). Use a Mr. Onsa to extract it from the rubble.
- 2 in the topmost chest in Proto Eden Lab Division 5.
- 2 from Astral Archive, after clearing Easy difficulty of the Rebel Rider minigame.
- 6 from subquests located across Elzion. The orb in Xianhua's Lab points out where to look. There are three subquests in total, each one giving 2 Turbochargers.
Rebel Rider[edit]
Get Galliard to the finish line within the time limit to complete the difficulty. You have a manual Boost to temporarily increase his speed, and Boost pads can be driven over for a short boost. Avoid crashing into obstacles as it will greatly reduce speed.
You only begin with the Easy difficulty, and unlock Normal and Hard as you complete each course. The Extra courses are unlocked on completion of this quest, and you get bonus Chronos Stone rewards for completing each track.
Framerate drops can impair your top speed. It is recommended you activate "Eco Mode" in Menu → Other → Settings to improve performance. The less FPS drops from 60 FPS player gets, the easier it is to clear this minigame. Even drops to 58-59 FPS may cause for ending time to be ~20-30 seconds less than it can be without FPS drops.
LDPlayer optimized setup to achieve 60 FPS stability (on PC hardware that have resources available)
- 60/90/120+ FPS in emulator settings
- Vertical synchronization is enabled
- Full Screen mode (for Vertical sync to work)
- Disabled eco-mode in-game.
- Freeing PC resources by closing other apps also may help, if PC load is a bit bottle-necked.

The bike can be upgraded in a few ways:
- Attack - Increases attack speed and range
- Boost Speed - Increases speed gain from boosting
- Boost Charge - Shortens Boost cooldown
- Combo - Triggers a short Boost after defeating three enemies in a quick succession
