Samora’s kitchen utensils are broken. He wants to go to Ratle to a renowned blacksmith to repair them.

Samora and Aldo go to the blacksmith in Ratle to have him repair Samora’s pot. The blacksmith needs some iron ore from Vasu Mountains, so they get some for him. After their return, the blacksmith’s fuel has run off, as it is actually a monster. They retrieve it for him in Nadara Volcano. The blacksmith is finally able to repair Samora’s pot and Samora gets ready to cook something new.

Character Quest 2[edit]

The Phantom Ingredients

The monsters in Lake Tiilen are getting out of hand. They’re attacking travelling merchants and wreaking all kinds of havoc.

A man in Acteul tells Aldo and Samora that monsters in Lake Tiilen are attacking traveling merchants, so they decide to take care of them. They go there and spot a coelus fresh out of hibernation, known as a coelus outside of time. Samora advises Aldo not to engage it yet, as it is currently more ferocious.

They head to Zol Plains first, where Samora collects some ingredients, and go back to the coelus outside of time. Aldo notes that they are not more prepared than before, but Samora wants to cook it and rushes to attack it. They slay it and Samora explains that this kind of meat is known as the steak of the heavens.

Although reluctant, Aldo helps Samora cook and is surprised to find out that the coelus is tastes good. After their meal, Samora urges Aldo not to tell anyone about it, reasoning that if everyone found out how delicious the coelus outside of time was, they would all get eaten up.
