Profile[edit]

Introduction Dialog[edit]

I’m Myron. Let’s say I’m… an adventurer, roaming the land and solving problems as I go. I prefer not to be bound by a single location. Just wandering wherever is more my style. There’s something about you… You’re kind of a strange one. How about it? Think you’ve got room for one more on your journey?

Character Traits[edit]

A wanderer who solves mysteries as she goes. Myron has run away from home many years ago for an unknown reason, and resolves to go back once she is an accomplished adventurer. She is a descendant of a "Guardian" of some kind.

Story[edit]

Character Quest 1[edit]

Horror Stories in the Fog

Something odd is happening in Acteul lately. People are disappearing when the fog is thick. Can you help solve the mystery?

In Acteul, Myron and Aldo encounter a man called “Wanderlust.” Wanderlust is researching Acteul’s myths and superstitions, and asks the two to investigate Acteul’s string of disappearances. It is rumored that people go missing when the fog becomes thick, and never return. Wanderlust believes that the supernatural is involved in these events. Myron is suspicious about Wanderlust’s request. Nevertheless, people are going missing, and Aldo wants to help.

Wanderlust directed the two to start their investigation by interviewing a girl who “knows something.” The girl, called “Fearful Girl,” watched her friend get swallowed up by the fog at the edge of town. As they investigate, Aldo notices that Myron is feeling a little disturbed. She can see her home from her location. She admits that it had been years since she ran away, and she does not know what to do if her family confronts her now. Suddenly, Myron notices an impure, spiritual energy in the area as fog rolls in. She spots abductors and attacks.

After the battle, they report to the Palace Guard. They talk to an official. He and his investigators do not know why children with heightened spiritual powers are being targeted. The official thanks Aldo and Myron before they leave to talk to Wanderlust.

Wanderlust, disappointed that local crooks were behind the kidnappings, leaves. Before Aldo and Myron return to adventuring, Aldo asks Myron if she wants to visit her family. She turns him down. Myron wants to visit them when she has become a more accomplished adventurer.

Character Quest 2[edit]

The Gang’s Wrongdoings Revealed

It seems that there’s someone behind the scenes pulling the strings of the abductors. You’re going to need help if you want to take him down and save the children.

Myron and Aldo are called upon by the Official to discuss the kidnappings in Palsifal Palace. After the last quest, the Official learned that the gang was part of a larger organization led by an unknown armored man. He also informs Myron and Aldo that suspicious people were identified on Derismo Highroad and asks them to look into it.

Myron and Aldo arrive at Derismo Highland and witness three abductors and a Man in Armor cornering a child. The two attack the Abductors and demand the Man in Armor to release the child. Suddenly, a mist rolls in, and the child and Man in Armor disappear. Before he leaves, the Man in Armor calls Myron the “Descendant of the Guardian.”

To find out more about the kidnappings, Aldo suggests to Myron that they talk to the Wanderlust. Before, the Wanderlust had mentioned a folktale that resembled the event that they had witnessed: a figure with no face appeared in the fog, taking people away. Since the Man in Armor does not show his face, he could be mistaken for a ghost.

Finding the Wanderlust in Acteul, Myron and Aldo ask him for more information. He recalls another story about the ghost, telling the two that the ghost appears in the Man-eating Marsh.

The missing children were found in the Man-eating Marsh. Myron and Aldo free the children from the monsters guarding them. According to the children, the Man in Armor gathered them together because he was trying to find a way to control the elemental spirits and their powers. It did not work, and he had left them there. Myron and Aldo take the children back to their homes.

Back in Palsifal Palace, Myron and Aldo report to an official. Though most of the criminal organization was caught, the Man in Armor is still missing.
