Tips

• if you are lost, here is a map to find him (go directly to Level 5, then head up to the exclamation mark at the top middle).
• When Kudang is reduced to 0 HP before you've defeated 5 Shackled Demons, it will unleash a party-wide nuke that inflicts 15,000 fixed damage as a last-ditch attack.
  • Have a character with Hold Ground, use a Hold Ground badge or use characters like Galliard, Kikyo or Yukino to avoid this attack.
• Turn 5 Fiery Despair does about 100,000 damage unmitigated.
• After defeating 5 Shackled Demons, causing them to no longer be spawned, two other changes occur:
  • A Physical Resistance debuff is applied to Kudang. Its duration is 99 turns, however it will be removed once Fiery Despair is used.
  • The attack Kudang uses upon reaching 0 HP will now only inflict a fixed 666 damage, which is survivable and doesn't require specific methods to survive.
