Introduction Dialog[edit]

Just who exactly are you? You have far too much battle experience to be just a regular student. You’re not a—wait, what? I see. You’ve been around a bit, have you? Well, that explains the battle-hardened aura about you. and I knew there was more to you than meets the eye when you were able to keep up with all my attacks. That’s just because I’m in teacher mode around the school. But, having to repress my power the whole time so I don’t stand out can be pretty frustrating, you know. That’s why I have something I’d like to ask of you. Whenever you go off on an adventure, could you bring me along with you as well? Thank you. and, another thing: I would appreciate you keeping this a secret from everyone else at the school. Thanks! Oh, is that the time? I have to go teach a class now, see you around. Oh, and one last thing. You’ve passed Rank S, and with room to spare at that!

Story[edit]

Character Quest 1[edit]

The Job of a Professor

Cerrine is patrolling the school. Everything seems normal until she encounters a student in trouble.

Aldo encounters Cerrine during a standard hall patrol at IDA School. They hear a cry of distress, although Cerrine initially mistakes it for a scream of joy. She eventually joins Aldo in checking if anyone is in trouble.

They see a young delinquent taking something from a female student, but she denies anything is wrong. Aldo prevents Cerrine from taking her word for it, appealing to her duties as a teacher, since something is clearly wrong, so Cerrine forces a confession out of the scared student with her whip: the delinquent took all of her money and belongings. Cerrine promises to help the girl, who leaves, wondering if her teacher will leave her alone and helpless like before. When Aldo asks Cerrine if she already knows the student, she is unsure.

A teacher, under the impression that Cerrine cannot fight, approaches her and Aldo to tell her that three students almost transferred to a different school to avoid taking her tests again in Martial Theory. She hushes Aldo, confused that the teacher thinks that Cerrine isn’t a strong fighter. She then flirts with the teacher and asks for some help. She also asks about the delinquent and is pointed to Sky Terrace.

Aldo and Cerrine find the young delinquent, who angers Cerrine and tries to defeat them with his robots. He loses and gets whipped so hard that he becomes a new and better person.

Aldo and Cerrine take the young delinquent to apologize to the student, but when he does, Cerrine tells the student to apologize instead. It is revealed that everything was fabricated and that the student was the one forcing the delinquent to perform in the mugging scene. The female student thus apologizes and runs away.

The delinquent explains that he got involved in some shady business to get some bread for his family, so Cerrine sets a 20 years loan with zero percent interest for him with a mysterious phone call to let him be a good student and quit his shay job. He thus thanks her and tells her that it seems like that student has a grudge against her.

After the former delinquent leaves, Cerrine tells Aldo that she could tell that the initial scream was fake and that she can recognize true terror, as she has seen it countless times. Aldo believes that it is important to see through students’ emotional barriers, and if Cerrine is able to do so she isn’t such a bad teacher after all.

Character Quest 2[edit]

Extracurricular Activities? Could be Dangerous…

Some students rush over to deliver a message for Cerrine. What does the message say?

The former delinquent approaches Cerrine to hand-deliver a message for her telling her to reach the airport, where a student of hers is in trouble. She and Aldo thus head there.

They meet the letter’s sender, a hoodlum, whose lawless gang of thugs (the Midnight Seekers) has taken the girl who tried to fool her before hostage in order to force her to do a job for his gang: breaking out some members of his gang from the EGPD custody.

She thus assaults some agents of the EGPD and frees the thugs, much to Aldo’s surprise. One of the thugs is surprised by something, but Cerrine shuts him up and sends him to tell his gang that she has completed the job.

Aldo and Cerrine meet the gang leader and a hooded individual at Route 99, but hoodlum refuses to release the student unless Cerrine takes some hits from a Agateram without fighting back first. She accepts until the hooded figure protests. The hoodlum, however, doesn’t want to stop and reveals that the hooded figure was actually the female student, who had hired him in the first place. Aldo and Cerrine thus destroy the Agateram, as Cerrine has already proven that she is willing to give it her all to help a students of hers.

After the fight, more members of the Midnight Seekers arrive, but their leader apologizes to Cerrine. Another member of the gang explains that a few year before, a 15-years old Cerrine took the top spot in their family as the Queen o’ One Thousand because she had more than a thousand men waiting on her. Cerrine orders the men who she freed from the EGPD to turn themselves back in, as all of the Midnight Seekers’ leaders are still under her command.

Back in Elzion, the female student asks Cerrine why she helped her, and Cerrine answers that she seemed unhappy and couldn’t sit back and let a child suffer all alone. The student then asks why she didn’t talk to her when she needed her help the most and runs away, wanting to be left alone. Cerrine then resolves to do something important, as failing to do so would make becoming a teacher all for naught.

Character Quest 3[edit]

Gotta Whip These Students into Shape

Cerrine is worried about a certain student so she calls the student’s parents. What’s causing her to misbehave so much?

As Aldo notices how changed the former delinquent has become thanks to Cerrine, an android tells her that the female student’s parents are waiting for her at the Entrance Hall. She has summoned them, because the female student, Anita, has been avoiding her.

Anita’s parents tell Cerrine that she has run away. They reveal that they told her she was adopted a year ago and took it hard until she started talking to Cerrine. Her behavior, however, changed back again recently. According to her diary, she may have gone to the place closest to Cerrine’s heart, but Cerrine herself has no clue. When Aldo inquires about whether Cerrine was close to Anita or not, she answers that she wasn’t, but Cerrine was, leaving a puzzled Aldo.

While looking for Anita, Cerrine reveals that she is not Cerrine, but her older twin. The real Cerrine died, and she decided to take care of her students in her stead, allowing her sister to die with no regrets and a smile on her face. She thus took her sister’s identity and mimicked her shy and timid personality, even taking her glasses. However, this means that the real Cerrine was Anita’s confidant.

Cerrine and Aldo figure out that Anita is on the Last Island, where the two sisters used to go together. Cerrine used to take the real Cerrine there whenever she would have a fight with her guardians. Indeed, they were both raised in an orphanage, although the real Cerrine was eventually adopted, but kept in touch with her sister.

Cerrine reveals the whole truth to Anita, who realizes that it wasn’t her friend pushing her away, but her sister, who was keeping her distance from the students to avoid anybody finding out the truth. Anita runs away shocked and Cerrine, thanks to Aldo’s encouragement, goes after her.

They find Anita yelling at her parents that she hates them and running away again, but is attacked by a monster. However, she is saved by her parents before. As she screams for help, Aldo and Cerrine intervene and save her again.

After the battle, Anita is still acting out and Cerrine loses her patience and tells her that she indeed cannot understand her, since she has never known a loving family and has bitterly envied her sister for having been adopted instead of her. Cerrine thus proceeds to whip Anita into saying how she truly feels and she admits to her parents that she wanted them to scold her like they used to do before they told her that she was adopted, believing that their change in behavior meant that they didn’t think of her as a real daughter anymore. The family finally have a heart-to-heart.

Aldo and Cerrine give the family some privacy and Cerrine proclaims that she has honored her sister’s wishes enough and is ready to give her resignation.

Cerrine then hands over her notice of resignation at IDA School and looks at the school one last time. As she and Aldo talk about the future, Anita approaches them to thank her and apologize. Cerrine admits that, even though she was jealous of her sister, she was the one who pushed her to accept the adoption, not wanting her to put other people’s happiness first. Anita reveals that she told her that her big sister was as good as her in making other people happy, making Cerrine realize that she does want to be a teacher. She thus runs to get her notice of resignation back!
