Quest 1: Bare Your Fangs[edit]
Cerius is called to hunt some dinosaurs near Ratle. On their trail, he has an unexpected meeting.
The scene opens on a man and youth in the Vasu Mountains being attacked by raptors. From far off in the distance, Cerius blasts the raptors with an arrow. Aldo meets up with Cerius and they head off to Ratle. After they leave, a man slips out from behind the rocks and begins to follow them.
In Ratle, Cerius tells Aldo that he is looking for a certain huntress. As they are speaking, the man who was following them approaches. He asks Cerius to take down a ferocious red dinosaur that lives in the Vasu Mountains. Cerius agrees, and Aldo decides to join him.
Back in the mountains, Cerius locates a set of fresh tracks. Suddenly, Yio screams and charges up to them. Cerius is happy to see her, and tells Aldo that Yio is the "Dinosaur Slayer" huntress he was looking for. Aldo asks Yio what scared her, and she says that she was attacked by a large red dinosaur. Cerius excitedly runs off to look for the beast, followed by Aldo and Yio.
When they catch up to the dinosaur, Cerius tells Aldo to stay back and leave this to the professionals. Cerius and Yio move to attack the dinosaur, but Cerius hangs back. When Yio realizes that she is alone, she gets scared and runs back to Cerius. He praises her strategic skills, saying that she maneuvered the dinosaur into perfect attack range. Cerius shoots an arrow that drives off the dinosaur, but fails to do any real damage. They follow it into Nadara Volcano.
The three hunters catch up to the dinosaur inside the volcano and find it guarding two of its babies. The man from Ratle appears and reveals that he has used them to find the nest of the red dinosaur. He tells them that the horns of the young dinosaurs are very valuable, and offers to split the profits with the hunters. Cerius calls him a poacher and says that true hunters only kill when it is a part of the cycle of nature. He challenges the poacher to a fight to establish who is the hunter and who is the prey. The poacher calls in two hell hounds to fight his battle.
After the hell hounds are defeated, the poacher runs away. Cerius shoos the red dinosaur and its babies off to a higher part of the mountain where they will be safe. Cerius begs Yio to tell him the secrets of a true dinosaur slayer. To Aldo's surprise, she agrees. Back at the tavern in Ratle, Cerius, Yio, and Aldo eat hot wings and share hunting stories.
Quest 2: The Mymyne's Shell[edit]
In search of grand prey, Cerius comes to Zarbo. He sets out into Rucyana Sands to hunt a monster ...
