Bolton is the first town in the Hollow era. The southeast exit leads to Moonsteel Forest. The northeast exit leads to an isolated path in Moonsteel Forest.

In the upper-right corner, Legendary Treasure Map can be bought from a mek for 2000 bearings to unlock a deep sea salvage location.

Korobo can use Atmo Pump on a pipe in the upper-right area to unlock the house. There is some rubble in the left area which can be removed with Korobo's Iron Arm to give access to an Audio Log.

In the center area, there is a mek by the fields who will give you a farming quest chain after you listen to the Audio Log in Bolton. She will ask you to get insect-repellent fertilizer from Omegapolis. Speak to a mek in the center of Omegapolis Underbelly to receive Bad Insect. Next, she will request for a nutrient-rich fertilizer from Lernica. Speak to a mek in the upper-left corner of Lernica to receive Plant Energy. Lastly, she will ask you to get a new rice scythe from the blacksmith in Lashval. Speak to the blacksmith to obtain Rice Scythe. After completing the chain, you will be able to obtain 150 bearings from a well previously hidden behind the crops. There is another already opened chest.
