A pleasure to make your acquaintance.
I am Shion a proud samurai from the east.
My lord has ordered me to join you in your endeavors. Please don't tell anyone about this arrangement.
Truth be told, I don't really excel in anything, apart from sword play. Will that be a problem?
Character Traits[edit]
He is Akane's older brother, and share a 5 year age gap [1]. He is childhood friends with Shigure. He is a disciple of Fugen Itto-Ryu and studies the "sword of strength" under Shigure's grandfather. He currently serves Lord Genshin, the lord of the Land of Mi who take advantage of Shion. He has a white horse named Snow (Shirayuki in JP). Shion's parents went on a journey when he was 10 and are presumed to have pershied in their travels.
Other Info[edit]
Shion get his hair color from his mother. Shion can be inferred to be older than Aldo due to Aldo mentioning that Akane and himself are of similar age.[2] and Akane confirms that Aldo and herself are the same age [3]. Jet Tactician is Shion from an alternative time layer where he witness Akane's death and became a tactician to ensure that the future he witness does not occur.

Akane: Character Quest 2: Paying the Traveler Back[edit]
Shion notices from the way Akane talks, that she really depends on Aldo and Aldo has a good hold over Akane. He states he unsure of how to feel about this relationship from the standpoint of an older brother but he trusts Aldo. Aldo becomes concerned about Shion and Shion states he is fine. He tell Aldo he is just keeping tabs on his little sister and he counting on Aldo to keep her safe.
It revealed later from Akane's friend that Akane goal in coming to Migleina is to find Shion and Akane states that this is confidential and if her brother found out he killed her. Akane mentions that Shion once told her "When pressing forwards doesn't work, sometimes it good to fall back...". Akane also say that Aldo and Shion both descibe her as mischievous younger brother.

Akane: Character Quest AS: Akane's Heart for a Warrior[edit]
In a flashback to the past, it is revelaed that Shion's and Akane's father jokelingly suggested that since Akane loves Shion, she should marry Shion. Akane considers swearing to marry her brother as her father's last wish though Akane knows that her father meant to be close like siblings rather than husband and wife. Shion has request Akane to keep it secret due to the nuisance of love.

Fugen Itto-Ryu Dojo (Aldo's Apprenticeship)[edit]
Aldo comes to Fugen Itto-Ryu Dojo to study the Itto-Ryu techniques. The Head (Shigure's father) who teaches the "sword of skill" technique requires Aldo to return to the dojo each day at the dawn of the morning sun and only after 1 year has passed can you call yourself an official disciple of the Ito-Ryu. The Predecessor (Shigure's grandfather) requires Aldo to bring tasty snacks and that they shall host a banquet to celebrate Aldo's apprenticeship. After some time, Aldo has been taught many skills including the ability to better read his opponent, though Aldo has been able to commit each day to come to the dojo. The Head see Aldo’s earnestness of coming to dojo and understand that Aldo was busy with his mission. Aldo is accepted as an official disciple of the Itto-Ryu if he can pass a rite of passage, a fair and square contest of strength with the current disciple of the Itto-Ryu. Shion and Shigure come to challenge Aldo and approve of Aldo as an official disciple of the Itto-Ryu. The Predecessor states we must have a banquet. Using the Master Chiaki Aldo is able to use Shion’s Phoenix Slash and Shigure’s Fervent Qilin Slash. Shigure states he was confident that Aldo would pass the first trial. Shigure and Shion request to have a second trial with Aldo. In this battle, Shigure and Shion go all out using their Mounted Finisher and their Another Style and Akane in Another Style joins in on the fun. The Head congrats Aldo on his win.
