Dust City[edit]

Blacksmith: Find the Weapon Displays[edit]

After successfully disbanding the Dust Lovers, this unmarked quest becomes available.

Speak to the male NPC on the right side of the blacksmith. He will tell you about his lost display.

  1. Go down the middle stairway to the Underground in top lane. Go to the exclamation mark and retrieve the lost display.
  2. Go up the upper-leftmost stairway to the Hope Residence floor and retrieve the display piece at the exclamation mark.
  3. Progress the main quest until you can reach the bottommost Forbidden Lane floor and have achieved rank 1 in the minigame (to obtain the purple passcard). The last display is reachable from a hidden path in the bottom right corner of the Forbidden Lane. The entrance to the hidden path is halfway along the corner to bottom right room. Follow that path (it will go up staircases) to find the last display weapon at the end.

Bring the three items back to the blacksmith and retrieve a Luring Shadow (Sword) as a reward.

Part-Time Hero: Concept[edit]

In this minigame, Aldo and Nona send temp workers to various shops around Dust City, attempting to achieve the most sales and increase their sales rank. Temps and shops are found around Dust City.

As you progress through the story, and as you increase your minigame rank, new temps and shops will be available to you. Each new rank awards you with the next passcard (green, yellow, red, purple) which will allow you to reach new areas.

In each minigame attempt, you choose a temp to send to each shop. Temps are assigned a fixed condition each attempt which affects their results:

Condition Sales Impact
Temp Condition
Great +2
Satisfactory +1
Average 0
Poor -1
Terrible -2

However, if the temp wouldn't be able to get any sales in the shop they're assigned to, condition modifiers don't apply (it'll stay at 0 in any condition).

The table below shows all the possible results for each temp and shop combinations, in Average condition.

Place Dust Elva Handa Fashio EGPD Sorobon Archaeology Buff Android Glassan Heikos Toto Chilika
All Shop/Temp Combinations
Dust Burger None 4 None None None 5 None 6 None None 9 4

Eclipse Bar None None None 4 None None None 8 4 3 5 6
Purrfection 8 None None None None None None None None None None None

The ideal temp for each shop scores 8 in Average condition, and 10 in Great. When assigning a temp to a shop, you will also have the option of giving them a Drinko, purchased in exchange for mushrooms found around the city. A Drinko Classic raises a temp's condition by 1, and Drinko Premium raises it by 3. In addition, temps that wouldn't get any sales normally will score 2-3 with Drinko Premium (1 + Condition Modifier).
This means a temp in Terrible condition cannot achieve maximum sales for that attempt, a temp in Poor or Average condition can with Drinko Premium, and a temp in Satisfactory condition only needs a Drinko Classic. A temp in Great condition doesn't need any Drinko.

Once you have hired all temps you can go for max sales (108), which needs ideal placements and all temps to be in great condition (use Drinkos as needed). Do note that you'll have to skip attempt if any of temps you need to assign is in Terrible condition.
For story progression (green and yellow passcards) no drinks are needed. 38 points (including Yakumo's) will get you 3rd place, 60 gets you 2nd place, and 80 gets you 1st place.
