At the beginning of the battle, the boss resists thunder, earth, and magic and has no weaknesses.
In the first round, the boss uses Grudge Curse, which afflicts a character with the Interlude Curse and starts a 5 round countdown. This curse prevents action (including singing) and gives the resentment burst status to that character. Resentment burst deals 10% of Max HP x turns elapsed damage to the character.
An adequate amount of damage must be dealt within 5 turns (about 137242 HP, or 2% of its max) to end the interlude curse, or the curse will end on its own. After the Interlude Curse is ended, the boss heals 1372418 HP (20% of its max) and acquires weaknesses to slash, fire and shade type damage, keeping its resistances. If the boss is reduced to less than 50% HP, it deals an attack called Tanha wave.
