  • The first fight only consists Paladin Deirdre
  • In the second fight, Demon Sword Verweil is accompanied by Paladin Deirdre. You only have to defeat the Verweil to win.

Tips[edit]

  • With the exception of Grand Cross, all of the attacks used by both bosses are physical. Therefore, Mana using Mephistopheles will help significantly with damage mitigation.
  • Since all attacks except Grand Cross are also Slash attacks, deploying a Pierce, Blunt or Magic zone will also help significantly for damage mitigation.
  • Be extremely careful when the Verweil reaches 50% HP. The bosses will shift their attack pattern to cause Blood Raid (inflicts pain on your party) and Grand Cross (drops your party's HP to 1) on the same turn. Without a HP Regen buff (HP Regen occurs at end of turn, but before DoT effects deal damage) or healing AFTER Grand Cross hits, your party will immediately wipe due to being at 1 HP with a DoT status. Try to apply multiple HP Regen effects as Verweil's pain does significantly more damage than most other bosses, and can likely deal more damage than your HP Regen can heal in one turn (which leads to a wipe because your HP is 1 prior to regenerating HP). You will either need to apply pain immunity through Badges or Status Immunity (with moves like Freikugel) or be able to regenerate HP faster than Verweil can damage you with pain.
  • Of course, you can always nuke the boss down with a powerful Another Force, especially upon reaching the 50% HP threshold.
