Upgrades

The ULTIMANIA Hammer upgrades through each stage as you complete each stage's objectives. If it specifies a location, you must hunt the indicated monster in that location to advance the objective. No alternatives (not even other difficulties of Another Dungeons, if applicable) will count.

Once the final upgrade stage is reached, the ULTIMANIA Hammer gains an additional "Knowledge of ULTIMANIA" effect, giving +20 END and +20 SPR to its wielder.

Some locations (Dimensional Vortex, Chronos' Umbra, Ogres Spike) may be accessed again via the Records Room in the Spacetime Rift.
