Procedure
To lure peculiar Macky into the village, you need to interact with it in the forest and then walk back very slowly to not lose the Macky. If you lose him, you'll need to find him again.
- Initiate quest.
- Marlowe named Macky 'Stumpy'.
- Go to Hilda's house.
- Hilda named Macky 'Bababone'
- Go to Rebecca's house.
- Rebecca named Macky 'Dusty Colin'
- Go to Terry's house.
- Terry named Macky 'Meat'
- Go to Henry's house.
- Henry named Macky 'Julion'
- Go to Marlowe's house.
- Marlowe's name 'Stumpy' gets rejected.
- Choose a name for the Good Macky.
- You need to choose one of the names villagers suggest:
- Meat
- Bababone
- Julion
- Dusty Colin
- Twiggy
- This name is given to him by Mona.
- If you reject every name, Marlowe suggests to keep going until Aldo reaches a decision.
- This will be the name Good Macky will have when he joins your party.

To get Good Macky join your party, you need to return to the Mining Village, interact with him and go into the Macky Forest. After an event there, you have a choice to either leave Good Macky in the village or let him come with you. If you choose the former, you can repeat your repeat these actions and get to choose again.
