This location, and Zarbo, is first available after becoming allies with the Riftbreaker. Getting to the fishing pond by warping via Riftbreaker is faster than travelling from Zarbo. In the bottom right, Rucyana Sands - Underground Village becomes available in Chapter 2 of The Celestial Tower and the Shadow Witch. When playing as Varuo in The Cat Beyond its Territory, you can discover Rucyana Sands - Underground Cave in the top right (on the same level as the pond). The area gives you Counting Guide which increases the number of cat gifts Varuo can carry, and 10 Luring Shadow (Staff).
