Characters who join your party in Tails of Time and the Brave Four: Tales of Chronographia and Crown of the Pale Dawn can use abilites called Mystic Artes. An ability "Tales of" personality characters have, activates once per battle below 25% HP and with Over Limit, excluding Colette. Colette can access Mystic Artes under special conditions.

Activating Mystic Artes

When a character's HP falls below 25%, their skill changes to Mystic Artes. The character get 1 Over Limit at the start of the battle, which they consume when using Mystic Artes. This means they can only use Mystic Artes once per battle. Colette's Mystic Art is reliant on her Luck though it is not guartunee to activate. (Max Luck: 350, max 50% activation chance).
