You must have the Curse Breaking Bone to initiate the fight ("Mischievous Spirit" rumor).

Tips

• Dissolve Life is extremely powerful, and mitigation is the first step to going anywhere with the fight. Aqua Wall, Jotunn Effect, and Aurora Force can greatly assist in survival. Establish a Water Zone for great effect.
• The Fire Resistance penalties it applies with Dissolve Armor can also make it nearly impossible to survive subsequent uses of Dissolve Life. Aim to burst it down with Another Force quickly.
