The fight with the Leviathan only becomes available after completing The 1000 Year Ark of the Ocean Palace Episode and collecting four Pieces of Red Coral from Fishing up and defeating the Kraken, Hydra, Sky Serpent, and Scylla. The four pieces, once collected, will merge into the Sea of Fire. Take it to the Dragon Palace Central Keep to initiate the fight.

After its defeat, travel to Outer Wall Pine to initiate the sidequest "Waves of Time: The Millennium Maiden's Pearl Tears". Complete it to add Levia to your roster.
