Profile[edit]

Appearance[edit]

Isuka has long blond hair which goes down to her mid-back. She has a black with gold trim hair ornament in the shape of a large butterfly. She wears a white cape which hangs down to her waist. It is emblazoned with the IDA logo on the back. The cape only has a collar on the right side along with a golden design over the shoulders. Underneath is a brown mantle just slightly longer than the cape which has five points at the bottom. Under all this, she wears a long white coat which drags along the ground. Finally, she has on her white IDA outfit. It goes down to her upper thighs and covers all but the very bottom of her skirt.

After transitioning to her Another Style, she ties her hair up in a ponytail using the butterfly hair ornament. She wears a blue backless dress with a black and gold trim.

A key part of her outfit in both forms is a golden pocketwatch. The meaning of the watch is still unknown.

Character Traits[edit]

Isuka is a genetically-enhanced and gifted child produced and raised in a facility with other similar children such as Fortschritt (nicknamed Forty). Her own nickname was Seeker. She is consistently the brightest out of the group and thus subject to the most testing. One day a new child, Curiosity (nicknamed Curio), is introduced to the facility. On the day of his first test, there is an explosion which causes the facility to be consumed by flames. Isuka uses the last of her energy to make her way through the rubble to find Curio only to discover that he was the cause of the explosion. They become rivals with each other, with Isuka trying to thwart his plans ever since.

Other Info[edit]

She constantly has a calm and composed demeanor, even in highly stressful situations. Isuka's style of fighting resembles Iaijutsu. Her surname name is Traumerei[1]

Story[edit]

IDA Part 1: Absolute Zero Chain[edit]

While Isuka is still a regular student at IDA, Curio strikes again, causing a fire to break out at the hospital. Isuka runs in to search for survivors and finds Mayu amidst the flames. Isuka rescues her and brings Mayu back to her place. While Isuka continues to search for Curio, she eventually forgets about the incident. However, this does prompt her to join IDEA and eventually become the head IDEAlist.

The party first meets Isuka at the beginning of IDA Part 1 during the dark apple incident involving Saki. She waves at the party from a distance when they meet eyes in Elzion. Later she pulls Aldo and Jade into the IDEA HQ and recruits them to help save Saki.

After Jade seals off the entrance to the room Saki is being held and runs in to confront his father, Isuka immediately breaks through but holds Aldo back so Jade has a chance to properly deal with his issues.

After completing IDA Part 1: Absolute Zero Chain, Aldo is considered to be acquainted with Isuka regardless if the player has Isuka.

Character Quest 1: The Symbol of IDEA[edit]

While Aldo and Isuka are chatting in Elzion Gamma District, an IDA School student is being questioned by the EGPD. Apparently they suspect her of using counterfeit Git to buy a can of Omnipop. Isuka confronts the EGPD officer as the student explains she went to a GitSwap agency to change some IDAbit. Nonetheless, the student gets taken away. Isuka then explains to Aldo that IDAbits are used for transactions in IDA city, as compared to Git in the most of the rest of the world. The IDAbits are also legally recognized as an official medium of exchange by the state. However, unconvinced that the student told the truth, Isuka decides to investigate the matter.

In IDA School, Isuka finds Git-obsessed IDAites, Git-splurging IDAites, and an increase in number of students trying to earn IDAbits. Isuka summarizes to Aldo that in order to ensure circulation of currency, prices in IDA City are discounted if they are paid for using IDAbit, hence it is suspicious that the students are insisting on using Git in IDA City, or avoiding the use of IDAbits by going all the way to Elzion. Considering that the students are instead going crazy for bit-earning missions, Isuka theorizes that there is an illicit system allowing exchange between IDAbit and Git.

At the IDEA Operations Room, Isuka attempts to find the holder of the legitimate IDAbit who paid out fake Git, which traces to the Industrial Ruins. Aldo, Isuka, and Operator moves to the area to find a guard bot guarding against non-synth life forms. However, Isuka believes that the Synths are not the ones guarding the terminal as they are more likely to use a search bit robot instead. Operator extracts the transaction history from the terminal and sends it back to base.

Back at Operations Room, they find that the key data for transaction history for admin of Foolsgit Alkademy is stored on another server, and failed to identify the admin who covered their operation using a paper company — that is, a company that exists "only on paper", without any staff, to preserve anonymity. Desperate, Isuka asks Operator to directly hack into the server and risk exposing their involvement, her rationale being that the real-life identity is tied to the IDAbit account. Suddenly, the screen in the Operations Room flashes red with alert. Operator explains she is detected by the anti-hacker blockers, and only manages to retrieve three days' worth of transactions before being blocked.

With some digging, Operator finds the culprits' personal accounts... or rather, tens of thousands of dummy accounts. A male IDEA student rushes in with the news that the EGPD have [sic] been authorized to carry out investigation on IDAite territory. Isuka then thinks of a new plan, and Operator manages to get a single hit with it. Aldo and Isuka moves off to confront the culprit.

At the Sky Terrace, the culprit denies any involvement using his "middling intellect". Isuka reveals that an extraordinary amount of time would have been required to create the numerous fake accounts, and it will be more plausible to use stolen, unused accounts of IDA graduates. The culprit finally admits his motive and complains about IDA's flawed academic ranking which did not detect "a genius of [his] caliber", and wanted money to build a high spec computing system. He then extends an invite to work together with Isuka as the helm of the cyberdivision. Isuka recognizes his ability but declines on account of his dubious character, and asks the IDEA members to escort him to EGPD HQ. Isuka explains her persistence is because of the need to avoid setting a precedent for EGPD to investigate on IDA City territory, and the need to preserve the IDA City's independence.

The IDAite girl is later declared innocent and released from solitary confinement.

Character Quest 2: Ancient Chase[edit]

Aldo and Isuka come across a collapsed Sentinel on Derismo Highroad. Isuka sees how badly weakened he is and gets suspicious. At this moment, more Sentinels arrive and proclaim Aldo and Isuka as villains, before helping them to bring the captain back to town. One of the Sentinels explain that the captain has been sneaking out late at night recently, always coming back in high spirits, but now half-dead.

Isuka asks that one of them, Tim, to take some of the captain's blood and expose it to a candle fire, while the rest return to the palace to inform the minister. The Minister appears shocked but unconcerned at the news, and informs that there is a new dispatch from the military council concerning their unit — that they are to be dispatched to Ratle for peace-keeping. As everyone else leaves, Isuka asks the minister to explain a peculiar term she came across in the restricted section of the palace library, "Pearlic". The minister replies he has never heard of the term ever before.

Back in the palace, the Sentinels proclaim they will not go to Ratle without their captain. Isuka admires their loyalty and informs them of her suspicion of the minister as the one responsible for the captain's sudden ill health. She elaborates that the minister is aware the captain is comatose, despite them not having reported it. The Sentinel remains in disbelief, but agrees to help Isuka in investigating the matter.

In the palace, Isuka enquires a group of ladies about the palace expenditures, who reply they know nothing of it and simply chose the library for their activities involving fates and fortunes because it is a dignified setting. However, a prophet showed up with prophetic predictions and no one longer needs their vague and unreliable ones. Nonetheless, they agree to help Isuka look for it, and found it contained 22 years' of record.

Aldo and Isuka then went to meet a golem-maker to enquire about the heartpieces imported by the guild for use in palace golems. The golem-maker explains that the heartpieces last couples of years, and 60 a month are reserved for palace golems. Outside the room, Isuka informs Aldo that the mason's words conflict with the records, which shows increase in number of heartpieces imported. At this point, the Sentinels returned with information about a chambermaid throwing tons of rubbish into some hole. Isuka suspects the chambermaid and begins to connect the dots.

At this moment, the Sentinel who previously stayed with the captain runs in with the news that the captain's blood turned green when exposed to fire. Isuka expresses no surprise and states calmly to "pluck [them] a pearl", of which Aldo questions that the sea is miles away. Isuka answers him that they are after a land-grown pearl—an Earthbound Pearl which can be found in Keruri Highroad. There, they scare a Mymyne who flies in fright and leaves behind the pearl. Isuka then instructs Tim to run as fast as he can and hand the pearl to the doctor to use as a serum, while Aldo and her "ambushes" the minister who is attempting to escape.

Back in Acetuel, the minister almost believes his Operation Gritty Golem is successful and that he is getting off scott-free [sic] when Aldo and Isuka confront them for attempted murder and embezzlement of public funds. The minister claims outrage as his position as the Vice-chair of Palsifalian Council for Justice. Isuka proceeds to expose the marked increase of imported heartpieces which has not been delivered, and that the honorable captain has been the one carrying the heartpieces out of the palace. The minister continues to deny involvement. Isuka continues her accusation and alleges that the minister traded the golem mass-production blueprint to a high-ranking trade official in another kingdom, that he has been planning a one-way trip out of the kingdom using his personal chambermaid, and that he is getting rid of the captain who can be used as evidence against him.

While the minister maintains his innocence, the captain joins as witness. The minister exclaims his surprise at the pearlic poison failing. The other sentinels move in to take the minister away. Isuka explains she had earlier suspected the captain had been poisoned due to his breathing and posture, and is surprised her ecological and biology knowledge were not out of date coming 20,000 years into the past.

Character Quest 3: A Child's Curiosity[edit]

"Children are going missing. But apparently, it was their parents who sent them away. This doesn't sit right with Isuka.

Back in Elzion Gamma District, Aldo and Isuka meet the same EGPD cop again, who explains that schools across Elzion are having problems with their fish not showing up, but the manta rays insist that the clearly-not-fine situation is fine. Apparently, the fish are in the care of a trustworthy shark and have been away from their coral reefs for already some time, and even the leader of his own reef is now in the con — this is starting to look like too big a wave for him to surf alone. Before leaving, the EGPD officer emphasizes they have only chatted about current affairs in the aquarium.

Isuka becomes concerned and decides to hurriedly visit the couple whom the EGPD cop was speaking to earlier, before the devastation surpasses that of any tidal wave. The couple reveals that their rebellious son stopped misbehaving completely with the person, and the father got completely on board despite having only met the person once. However, they suddenly change their attitude and will say no more, "not until the paradise has been secured, and all the meddlers are out of reach". Isuka reveals her suspicion of her old rival being involved in this — if it was not for the rival's inexplicable act of arson... Anyway, the rival's modus operandi is to remain behind the scenes and incite others to commit crimes on his behalf, and have brainwashed scapegoats to shield himself from blame. Even people renowned for being wise obey him, like he has some kind of special ability to manipulate people with words.

(If Mythos: Logic and Scales has been started, Isuka describes Curio as an old friend instead.)

Isuka tries to draw from the clue of "paradise", but no idea comes to her mind. To avoid exposing IDEA's involvement, Aldo decides to help out by talking to the parents in Theta District. Just then, the EGPD cop returns with news that he has tracked down the shady shark. Isuka stops Aldo from believing the cop's words, only to reveal that the EGPD cop has now become a puppet. Recalling their words that the paradise is far away, free of worries, and completely secluded, Isuka believes the place is not on this planet, but in the sky — the Xeno-Domain.

The two heads to the Babel Space Elevator to find departure records. Isuka explains that the data is not deleted because the rival is not concerned about being stopped, but they should go and see what's up. While on the elevator, Aldo asks if Isuka can describe her history with the rival.

"Many years ago, Curio came into our lives, quite out of the blue. When our group first met him, all twelve of us thought he was adorable. He was much younger than us, you see."

"Did I not tell you about my upbringing? I was raised in a facility. One that produces genetically-enhanced, supremely gifted individuals. The idea was that we'd serve some greater purpose. And when I say produced, I mean in a lab— we didn't have parents." While the researchers rarely required them to do anything strenuous, the researchers took particular interest in her, and subjected her to regular testing of mostly brain scans and interviews.

When Curio showed up, he too was asked to take the tests. However, on the day he was first due to be tested, the facility was decimated by fire. Despite being hazy, Isuka resolved to find Curio through the burning rubble. However, when she saw him, his face was lit up by an expression of pure joy. It was then obvious to her then and there: the fire had not been an accident, but caused by him. Curio was relishing the spectacle of his achievement. Isuka then fell unconscious and only remembers next waking up in hospital. Recalling Curio's sweetness and straightforwardness, she still does not understand what happened to him. Nonetheless, Curio has malicious intentions and the power to see them to fruition. Isuka vows to stop him, as the responsibility falls to someone cut from the same cloth as him.

Upon reaching Xeno-Domain Lower District, one of the girls greet Isuka as the Seeker. The girl reveals herself to be Foltschritt, who has a long history with Isuka. It turns out that Curio has overwritten the children's memories with that of their old crew.

"Loneliness is your problem, and so your solution is, effectively, to clone yourself, yes?" Isuka asks that of Curio.

Curio reveals his project of "Beings of Equal Intellect" to vacate the planet for his paradise. Curio had always prioritized his curiosity above all else and saw himself as the sole player — he did not "lose" his original, pure self. He sees that there is not a single person with the intelligence to match him, other than the great Professor Chronos. Isuka interrupts him, "I didn't take the long ride up the elevator to hear about your 'great' schemes. I came put a stop to it."

"You were designed 'to seek,' were you not?" Curio rebukes Isuka for finding contentment with mediocrity for companionship, before summoning several sentry bots to make Isuka come to her senses. After being defeated, Curio remarks about his opponent having superior pieces, and Isuka remarks she is not playing the same game: Aldo is a trusted ally and not a 'piece'. However, Curio reveals himself to be an android... and so Curio had been operating the android from a safe location. Regardless, while Curio does not consider Isuka his equal, Curio returns the kids their memories and declares that his plan will not crumble this way.

In Elzion, Isuka brings the children back to their parents.
