There are 3 high-score thresholds in each painting. Clearing trials with scores above these thresholds will net bigger Deep scarlet stones rewards. Clearing lvl80 first time in each tier will awards player with achievements and unique items rewards.

Deep Scarlet Stone exchange[edit]
After you finish any painting of Purgatory ensemble, you'll have an opportunity to speak to the bard again before returning to the Spacetime Rift. You can trade Deep Scarlet Stone here for items. (They'll continue to count toward the collection achievements even after you trade them.)
