Where to find EPS-245 Quadoxin[edit]

To unlock this battle, speak to Caviar in IDA School L Block after defeating EPS-014 LeBlanc and completing Chapter 5 of The Apex of Logic and Cardinal Scales. Travel to Nilva to fight this boss, then after defeating it, return to Caviar with its key items in hand to upgrade Regret, Curio's signature katana.

Tips[edit]

  • Each of its 13 revives have approximately 200k HP, while the final phase has approximately 200m HP.
  • Its final phase comes with much more HP than all other phases before it, and you must defeat it in an AF burst. Consider using Extra Style characters as their AF finisher can provide the AF burst you need to finish it off.
  • Preemptive attacks can prevent Quadoxin from attacking and EoT attacks can reduce stacks quickly. Aim to remove as many stacks in a single turn as possible so that it won't buff itself to full damage immunity against your attack type.
    • Hozuki with manifest is notable character to preemptively debuff -80% SPD (from 999 to 200) in addition to resist debuffs, which allows all other character to easily act before Quadoxin each turn.
    • Characters with end of turn attacks can remove additional stack per turn for each of them to make this fight faster.
  • Once Quadoxin stacks resistance 3 times in a given category, it'll have above 100% res and take 0 damage from everything of that kind.
    • Before last phase stacks on enemy are not removed, only debuffs, so stacks that lower resists from characters like Ewella, Laclair AS can be used to deal damage without clearing resists.
  • You can still hit Quadoxin even if it stacks 100% res by debuffing its res before attacking, or by removing buffs using Banish Grasta, Mana or Erina. Note you have to do this the same turn you attack, as it'll cleanse debuffs at the end of the turn.
    • If you remove Quadoxin's buffs with Banish or similar skills, it will retaliate by giving itself a 100% damage reduction buff at the end of the turn. Thus, save such skills for the AF burst at its final phase.
    • If you turtle and Quadoxin reaches the stacking cap for his PWR/INT buffs, he'll also replace his previous stacking buffs with this set of buffs. He is still survivable with Harle-level res-stacking.
  • Harle can completely wall Quadoxin with a combination of Lunar Protection and Anti-Dark, turning the 100% res trick against Quadoxin. If the Shade res debuff on party is not removed, however, you'll still need around a 25-30% preemptive INT down for Faulty Cell Excision, lowering it to ~2000 damage. Else, it kills.
    • Unless you have her 4th skill slot, the requirements to run Harle-stall prevents her from providing a meaningful contribution for the later burst damage, since she can't run both Lunar Ruin and Lunar Breaker. Switch her out when you're ready to burst to help meet the threshold.
  • If Quadoxin is down to his last stack of Undying Curse and you aren't killing him with preemptive attacks, you can have anyone except the attacker switch out for better attackers to AF Quadoxin down. He'll go before you switch, and as long as your party can survive, you can safely bring your other characters to the front.
