Where to find EPS-014 LeBlanc

To unlock this battle, speak to Caviar in IDA School L Block after defeating EPS-209 Murphy and completing Chapter 3 of The Apex of Logic and Cardinal Scales. Travel to Laula Dome to fight this boss, then after defeating it, return to Caviar with its key items in hand to upgrade Regret, Curio's signature katana.

Tips

• Use Another Force to immediately kill the spawns, then stall the main body. Repeat process once you hit the HP stopper.
• Elemental Zones are inadvisable in this fight as Leblanc changes its weaknesses too frequently to make use of the zone bonuses.
• Units or equipment that can purge or give resistance to status effects are a good inclusion.
• If using Kid as your sole debuffer, equip a Darkness resistance badge to ensure the debuffs will not miss.
• Attacks which miss will not charge the AF gauge.
• Extra Style finisher attacks can bypass its innate absorption. If this is your win condition, prioritize dealing as much total damage as possible, even if you have to focus on 1 or 2 elements, in order to power up the finisher enough to OHKO the remaining protoses.
• Clarte AS can be very useful for this fight as he has access to 4 of the 5 elements that Leblanc is weak to through the Ring of Brilliance.
  • However, he cannot chip the second wave of Protos' down himself without an AF, as his Shade and Thunder attacks target all enemies and will heal the other two.
• Fixed damage can bypass the many absorptions. If using a Radica AS or Tiramisu based team, bring debuffers, MP regenerators and prepare to stall the boss to death. The protos each have ~10M health, so Radica will take around 50 turns just for them, so have plenty of time available before trying this.
• Alma can solo DPS the fight assuming she can OHKO the spawns and you are able to switch targets/weakness in AF to take out two spawns at once.
